ABOUT

Saleh Alavizadeh is an Iranian writer, director and actor based in Paris. With a background in Dramatic Literature, he began his artistic career in theatre, developing an extensive body of work as a playwright, director and performer before expanding his practice into cinema.
Over more than a decade, his work has moved between stage and screen, from writing and directing theatre productions to creating independent short and feature films. He was Iran’s best-selling playwright for two consecutive years, while his work in film and theatre has received recognition at national and international festivals.
Today, his practice continues in France across film and theatre, bringing together the different disciplines that have shaped his work: writing, directing and performance.
